Description:
The body of an abused eleven-year-old boy was discovered in a town park. The witnesses and fingerprints were all directed at the sole suspect, one of Flint's most famous citizens - Terry Maitland, Little League baseball coach, English teacher, husband of Marcy Maitland and father of two daughters. Detective Ralph Anderson, whose son had been trained by Maitland, ordered his immediate public arrest. Maitland had an alibi, but Anderson and the district attorney also had matching DNA evidence. The case fell into a deadlock.
